Flax is an upright, annual plant growing roughly 1 meter tall with slender stems.  It is grown for both its seeds and for its fibers, however, we only offer the seeds.  Health- conscious consumers find flax a nutrition-packed ingredient, rich in essential omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, dietary fiber, and protein, but low in carbohydrates.  Gluten-free and GMO-free, flax is a particularly good source of a variety of antioxidants.
