Cranberry Seeds

Cranberry seeds are obtained from sound, mature berries and are mechanically separated from cranberry pulp. The seeds are then dried to a specific moisture and the process is validated to a 5 log micro reduction. This mighty seed is high in fiber, protein and can claim the honor of being nature’s only naturally red seed.

Applications:

Cranberry seeds are prime candidates for use in baked goods, crackers, bars, granolas, clusters. 

Harvest Time & Growth Cycle

Cranberry harvest in North America begins in September and can last through early November.

The cranberry growth cycle requires 16-18 months depending on conditions. This production cycle includes initiation of the flower bud (bud set) and the time to harvest mature fruit.
